When it comes to content creation, what are you afraid of?
- Do you worry that your writing isn’t good enough?
- Are you afraid that you’ll flake out before you really get your blog established?
- Do you think that you’ll never grow a following and that all of the time you’re spending on your blog is in vain?
The thing is, I’ve learned that fear cripples us. It keeps us from moving forward and from being successful.
I love the Scripture on the photo of this post, Psalm 46:2:
Therefore, we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea.
How much worse could it be than the earth being removed and the mountains being carried into the midst of the sea? I would say that would be a little unsettling
So, things are moving slow on your blog?
You’re not quite sure which direction to go?
Don’t be afraid!
The deal is, fear is an enemy that attacks us and keeps from accomplishing the great things we are called to create.
Next time you feel anxiety or dread or embarrassment creeping up on you, take that as a sign to push forward in your blogging and content creation efforts.
Does fear or lack of confidence ever keep you from moving forward with things like blogging? Have you been able to push aside insecurities and move forward? How has it made you feel?
